Rates and Insurance

Session Rates

My self-pay rate is $170 for a 53-minute individual session. Please see below for more information.

  • Self-pay rates:

    • Initial Consult (20 minutes) -Free

    • One-time intake session (60-90 minutes) - $200

    • Individual Session (53 minutes) - $170

  • Brainspotting Intensive Session (90 minutes) - $200

Option to add more time- $65 per 30 minutes

This is a self-pay option (insurance often won’t cover 90-minute sessions) for a longer Brainspotting session, which will allow you to go deeper and take more time for grounding and debrief at the end. I recommend only requesting this service if you’ve tried Brainspotting and find it helpful.

  • Family session (53 minutes) - $200

As an existing individual client, there may be times you would benefit from your support system joining a session to understand how to best support you.

If you think this may be helpful for you, please bring it up in session and we can discuss.

Please note that I do not offer ongoing family therapy at this time. One-off family sessions differ from ongoing family therapy in that they remain focused on the individual client’s recovery. They may only be initiated by the client’s request.

  • Neurodiversity Coaching (53 minutes)- $170, with reduced rates available.

I offer person-centered, disability justice-informed coaching to help neurodivergent people strategize around specific goals. Coaching may focus on things like executive functioning, sensory needs, exploring accommodations, and community building.

It’s important to note that Neurodiversity Coaching is not therapy. It’s often a helpful adjunct to therapy, and I recommend that people work with a therapist separately (so for example, perhaps you are working with a therapist on trauma processing, but also need specific support around time management—that’s where coaching can come in). Insurance typically does not cover coaching.

At this time, I do not have openings for coaching. Contact me if this would be of interest and we can discuss.

Reduced Rates

I offer reduced rates for people for whom the self-pay rate is inaccessible. At this time, my reduced rate spots are full. I will keep this page updated with availability of reduced-rate spots.

I am currently working to contract to be in-network with several insurance plans. Please contact me if you would like to know if I plan to contract with your insurance carrier.

If using insurance, your out-of-pocket cost is determined by your plan’s benefits and the contracted rate between your insurance company and my practice.

Out-of Network Benefits

Some insurance plans include out-of-network benefits, which usually means they’ll reimburse you for a portion of the session rate. If I’m not in-network with your insurance, I can’t bill them directly, but I can provide you with a monthly superbill that you may be able to submit to your insurance for reimubursement.

To determine whether you can be reimbursed, I recommend asking your insurance provider the following questions:

  • Does my plan include any out-of-network benefits for outpatient individual therapy?

    • I bill CPT codes 90791 (for the intake) and 90837 (for 53-minute sessions)

  • What percentage is reimbursed?

  • What is the process for reimbursement?

  • Are there other limitations I should be aware of, such as a deductible, limit on number of sessions, or need for preauthorization?

Are you a mental health provider or other service provider who wants to consult or collaborate about late-diagnosed neurodivergence, religious trauma, or neurodivergent burnout/CPTSD? Please contact me—I would love to connect!
